The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) Board approved assistance for Pani Clean to support intellectual property development and evaluation, proof-of-concept work, and key personnel. This assistance will play an important role in helping the company advance its technology and prepare for commercialization.
The support will enable Pani Clean to further narrow and define its beachhead market by identifying the first industry sector to enter. In addition, it will help the company strengthen and secure its intellectual property, which is a critical step toward building a strong commercial foundation and positioning the technology for long-term success.
The POCR application process involves multiple levels of evaluation and review, including assessment of the applicant company’s financial position and commercial potential by experts from various fields. Dr. Joun Lee, CEO of Pani Clean, said, “I am grateful to the IEDA reviewers and committees for their support and confidence in our future path.”
